A Place for Healing and Growth Through Play

Sheila Wessels, MEd, LPC-S, RPT-S™

Starting therapy — whether for the first time or after some experience — can feel like a big step. We know that finding the right support for you or your child is important. At Sheila Wessels Therapy, we’re here to make that step easier by offering caring, thoughtful support from the very beginning. At Sheila Wessels Therapy, we understand that children communicate and heal in many different ways — not just with words. Through play, creativity, and connection, we help children, teens, and families express their feelings, explore challenges, and build new skills for a stronger, healthier future.

We believe that play is a child’s natural language, and toys are their words. In our safe, supportive space, children are free to express big feelings, solve problems, and discover their strengths — all at their own pace. Whether through play therapy, expressive arts, or supportive conversations, we create a nurturing environment where healing and growth can happen naturally.

Therapy at Sheila Wessels Therapy is built around trusting relationships, empathy, and respect for each child’s unique way of experiencing the world.

We are honored to walk alongside you and your child on this journey, offering care, understanding, and tools for lasting change.
