Therapy for Adolescents

Adolescents today face a wide range of pressures—social, academic, emotional, and more—that can affect their overall mental health and well-being. Therapy can provide a supportive space for teens to navigate these challenges and help things feel more manageable for both them and their families.

We offer counseling services tailored to the unique needs of preteens, using a blend of expressive art therapy and traditional talk therapy. Some adolescents find it easier to open up when given creative tools like art supplies, writing prompts, or hands-on materials. These options create a sense of emotional safety and distance, which can be especially helpful when processing difficult feelings or painful thoughts.

Therapy may benefit adolescent who:

  • Want help expressing their emotions effectively
  • Struggle with low self-esteem
  • Feel anxious or sad often
  • Have experienced a major life change
  • Are exploring their identity
  • Feel disconnected from or frequently argue with their parents

Our goal is to provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where teens feel heard, valued, and empowered—at their own pace, in their own way.
