Accessing Your Child’s Therapy Records

As a parent or legal guardian, you have the right to request access to your child’s therapy records in accordance with Texas law.

To request records from this practice:

  • Please submit your request in writing.
  • Include your child’s name, date of birth, dates of service, and the specific records you are requesting.
  • Requests may be emailed or sent through the client portal to your clinician.

We will respond to requests within the timeframes required by law. Some limits may apply to protect your child’s privacy and therapeutic well-being. If you have questions, we are happy to talk with you about the process.


Licensing and Professional Oversight

This practice is licensed and regulated by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council, which oversees professional counselors in Texas.
